“Quintessential Harlem Girl” and Life Long New Yorker Bevy Smith

is the host of Sirius XM’s “Bevelations” on Radio Andy and recently served as a headlining contributor for Fox Televisions Stations’ “Page Six TV.” Bevy also shares her style insight on BET’s “Wendy’s Style Squad,” and for three seasons was showcased as moderator of Bravo TV’s revolutionary “Fashion Queens.”

Once a wildly successful luxury fashion publishing exec, Bevy shifted her professional goals to pursue “Dinner With Bevy,” a social event connecting VIPs in fashion, style, entertainment and media at chic intimate dinner settings. The New York Times described Bevy as a “socialite and noted hostess.”

A beloved motivational speaker, brand ambassador and pop culture aficionado, Bevy is a frequent guest on an array of TV shows, including “The View,” “The Wendy Williams Show,” “The Real,” “Dr. Oz,” “CBS Morning Show” and “Access Hollywood.”

And when it comes to giving back, Bevy is an integral part of “Fashion for Action,” an annual fundraiser for Housing Works, a New York-based thrift store and advocacy group that helps find appropriate housing for people living with HIV and AIDS, and serves on the board of Cool Culture, a charity devoted to raising awareness among under-privileged children.

Dinner With Bevy

“There is a market for this because people have lost the fine art of conversation,” said Bevy Smith, the creator of Dinner With Bevy. “People are so busy trying to network, they forget about connecting.” Ms. Smith beams when she meets someone new. “Why, hello!” she purred to a waiter at Red Rooster Harlem one recent Friday. He smiled, captivated by his customer. Ms. Smith oozes natural charm, which makes her the belle of the ball at the invitation-only dinners she organizes for a high-end clientele.”

Life With Vision

Dining With Bevy: Life With Vision is a brand extension of the private Dinner With Bevy events. Dinner With Bevy and “Life With Vision” are similar in the spirit of fostering relationship with the guests who are dining together; however, that’s where the similarities end. “Life With Vision” is open to the public and was created to help individuals tap into their passions, identify life goals and manifest them into reality. Bevy shares her life experiences, uses vision boards and other creative visualization tools to connect with her guests and inspire them to live pursue their dreams.
